The Day the Crayons Quit is a wonderful book about each crayon and their feelings on how they are used. This book could be used in the classroom when introducing different perspectives to the class. Even though we may love to use the red crayon, the red crayon may be tired of us using it all the time. Students could also write a letter to their favorite crayon on why they choose it all the time.
